如何写好文章-原创版

I have written about 20 peer-reviewed papers. Some of them have high impacts. When going over my experiences, I have following suggestions to write a good research paper. It works not only for English but also for Chinese writing.

When you finish your manuscript writing, you have to ask yourself several questions.
1. Do you have a big picture about your research field? Namely, do you know your peers' research progresses? What are the present problems? What have been done? Talking about this will give credits to your fellows.
2. What question do I want to address? Just one question. Do not be too ambitious.
3. Why do we need to develop this method or to do this experiment? Do we have to? Can you give exact reasons for your experiment and method?
4.  How many important discoveries do you have in your article? Do you have tables, pictures, or results to verify them? Which one supports the corresponding conclusion?
5. Why is your method or experiment superior to previous ones? Can your results support it?
